Letztes Jahr lief diese Aktion das erste Mal in Österreich und es wurden über 55.000 Mützchen gestrickt. Heuer findet das große Stricken auch erstmals in Deutschland statt, der Erlös geht hier an das Rote Kreuz. Auf der Homepage findet man die Strickanleitung und die Adresse, wo man die Mützchen hinschicken kann.
Mein erstes Mützchen ist fertig, geht ratzfatz in 30 Minuten. Die Quaste habe ich nach DIESER Anleitung gemacht und danach noch etwas zurecht geschnitten.

Ist das niedlich! Toll das man so helfen kann, wobei ich 30 Cent ein bisschen wenig finde, aber egal, man kann ja auch alleine spenden, wenn es mehr sein soll :)

Oh, I can’t believe I didn’t find out about this while in the UK…I mean we always bought the bottles with the hats, they were so nice and so many to choose from, but I had no idea it was made in that was. I will definitely check it out; it is a fantastic initiative and thank you for spreading the word!
