I Am Pleased - Ich freue mich

... über meinen Weihnachtskaktus (schlumbergera), dass er 1. sich entschlossen hat, nach zwei Jahren wieder zu blühen und dass er es 2. zur richtigen Zeit vor oder zu Weihnachten macht. Letztes Jahr bekam die Pflanze ganz viele Knospen zu Ostern, die dann alle abfielen. An dieser Stelle muss ich gestehen, dass mein Verhältnis zu Zimmerpflanzen ein zwiespältiges ist. Ich liebe sie zu sehr, sprich ich gieße sie zu Tode. Bekomme ich welche geschenkt, versuche ich immer sie im nächsten Jahr wieder zum Blühen zu animieren (sollten sie bis dahin noch leben). Manche Töpfchen werden ja vom Blumenhandel so gezogen, dass sie nur einmal und zwar zum Zeitpunkt des Kaufes blühen und dann kann man sie eigentlich kompostieren. Aber ich versuche es immer sie weiter zu ziehen. Und ich habe gelernt, dass man es bei Primeln (primula) echt vergessen kann. Im Topf kommen die nicht wieder. Die pflanze ich nach der Blütezeit in den Garten, aber auch wenn ich rote, lila und fuchsiafarbene Primeln in die Erde pflanze, raus kommen immer nur gelbe. Aber die sind im Frühling auch schön ;)

I am pleased with my Christmas cactus (schlumbergera) that it first has decided to bloom again after two years and that secondly at the right time to Christmas. Last year the plant has quite a lot of buds on Easter then all fell off. At this point I must confess that my relationship to houseplants is an ambivalent one. I love them too much say I pour them to death. If I get potted plants I always try to encourage them to return next year to bloom (if they should live that long). Some pots are drawn by florists that they bloom only once at the time of purchase and then you can compost them properly. But I always try to nurse them. And I've learned that you can forget it for primroses (primula). The potted primroses do not come back. I plant them after flowering in the garden, but even if I plant red, fuchsia and purple primroses in the earth, always come out only yellow. But they are also beautiful in spring ;)

Und ich freue mich über die heutige Lieferung von Amazon. Da ist was für Mami, Papi und Mädi dabei. Da seht ihr auch gleich wofür ich mich schon lange interessiere, aber mich noch nie drüber getraut habe.
