Between The Years - Zwischen den Jahren
So schnell (scheinbar) wie Weihnachten kommt, ist es auch wieder vorbei. Leider hat das Weihnachtstauwetter den ganzen Schnee weggefegt und die Schi stehen in der Ecke. Die Tage plätschern dahin mit: Verwandtenbesuche, Eislaufen, Schabernack mit dem armen dahinschmelzenden Schneemann treiben, Spiele spielen, Kekse naschen und sich schön bei Kerzenschein einigeln.
So fast (seemingly) as Christmas comes, so fast it's over.
Unfortunately the Christmas thaw swept away all the snow and the skis wait in
the corner. Days are elapsing with: visiting relatives, skating, playing tricks
on poor melting snowman, playing board games, eating christmas cookies and
enjoying our warm cozy home by candlelight.
