Sunset Sky - Abendhimmel

Gerade eben über meinem Zuhause fotografiert. Wir sagen Schäfchenwolken dazu.
Schönen Abend!

Just now photographed over my home. We call them "lamb clouds" but I don't know the english expression for this phenomenon.

Have a nice evening!

Chanterelles - Eierschwammerl

Was für ein zauberhafter Tag im Wald
What a magical day in the wood

After two days of rain, we are eager to visit the forest. Time for chanterelles.

Let the Sunshine in

Schönes Wochenende! Happy Weekend!

Zucchini blossom

Amaryllis - Ritterstern

Strange thing: my amaryllis blooms now in the summer. Has never happened before. In the summer they always have a shady spot on the terrace and from August I let it dry. And suddenly one of them bloom.

Have a nice day!

My Creative Space

Knitting a Shawl - Tuch gestrickt

I want to knit a shawl to minimize my wool remnants. Old scraps of wool to be exact, I have inherited from my mom and grandma. Since I have two brothers, there are mainly light blue and white wool. Therefore I have decided that this shawl will be for my mom. I do not like light blue very much. So do not wonder about the odd color combination, I only knit wool that I have in stock. And I also mix quite wild, qualities and strengths. Whatever! The wool has to go. The shawl is as large as half a blanket, but no matter, then my mom can really cuddle up in winter. Probably there is even enough wool for socks. The pattern is simple even for beginners.

The First Harvest - Die erste Ernte

Lettuce and radishes are there for some time, but today I harvested the first zucchini. My tomatoes are still green in the background, but the prevailing heat at the moment is going to change it hopefully soon.
