Bracelet Fever - Armband Fieber

Bei uns sind jetzt schon drei Wochen Ferien vorbei (noch fünf vor uns) und wir genießen die Zeit sehr. Wir stecken voll in der Marillenernte, die dieses Jahr wieder enorm gut ausfällt. Und mein Mädchen liebt immer noch ihre Gummiringerl-Armbänder. Jeder bekommt ein Armband, ob er/sie will oder nicht.

Now three weeks holidays are over (another five ahead) and we enjoyed the time very much. We are fully occupied with apricot harvest, which again is tremendously well this year. And my girl still loves her Rainbow Looms. Everyone gets a bracelet, if he/she wants it or not.

Shawlette Blue Lagoon

Blue Lagoon ist der Name der Wolle und das Tuch ist auch schon wieder eine Zeit lang fertig. Wolle ist wieder von Drops, so wie auch das Spitzenmuster. Mehr davon könnt ihr auf meiner Ravelry Seite lesen. Irgendwie bin ich etwas vernarrt in diese Tücher und in die tolle Wolle.

Work In Progress

Der Sommer macht gerade Pause, aber das Kind möchte ja trotzdem beschäftigt werden. Auch bei uns sind die Gummiringerl eingezogen oder auch Rainbow Looms genannt. Meine Kleine liebt es. Und sie probiert auch Bilder zu sticken. Ich habe das als Kind geliebt. Klappt schon etwas, aber da muss ich noch viel mithelfen. Und auch mein Projekt habe ich begonnen. Die Wolle war in einem Überraschungspaket von Buttinette dabei und will auch mal verarbeitet werden. Wird aber kein Pulli ;)

Summer is doing a break but the child still wants to be entertained. We are also addicted to these funny rubber bands the so called Rainbow Looms. My little one loves it. And she tries embroidery. I have loved stitching these templates as a child. She makes it fine but I still have to help a lot. And I started my project. However, it is not a sweater ;)

Ich will was Neues stricken und wenn ich auf der Suche nach Strickmustern bin, dann greife ich erstmal auf diese drei Werke zurück.

In My Shoppingbag - Im Einkaufsbeutel

Gestern war ich wieder mal bei Ikea und u.a. landete auch diese Taschenlampe im Einkaufssackerl. Da dreht man oben an der Kurbel und dann leuchtet die Lampe für 90 Sekunden. Überzeugt hat mich nicht nur, dass man keine Batterien braucht, sondern auch die unglaublich helle Leuchtkraft. Natürlich wollte das Mäderl auch eine haben. Und immer noch ein Dauerbrenner, besonders jetzt in den Ferien Mancala oder Kalaha.

Yesterday I was at Ikea's and this flashlight find the way into my shoppingbag. You rotate the handle at the top and then the lamp lit for 90 seconds. What convinced me was not only that you do not need batteries but also the incredibly bright luminosity. Of course girlie also wanted to have one for herself. And still a perennial favorite, especially now during the holidays, is the game Kid-Cala or Kalaha.

The Very First Apricot - Die allererste Marille

... die heute unterm Marillenbaum lag. OK, die zweite. Die erste habe ich gleich gegessen. Sehr lecker! Und die hier wird mein Mädel gleich verspeisen. Noch ein paar Sonnentage und die Ernte geht los.

Shawlette in Orange - Tuch in orange

Das Tuch ist schon länger fertig, aber wieder hat mich mal eine totale Unlust zum Fotografieren angefallen. Ja merkwürdig nicht wahr, aber ich fotografier gar nicht so gerne. Aber gestern habe ich es doch geschafft. Momentan stricke ich sehr viel. Das war schon immer so. Je heißer das Wetter, desto lieber strickt die Mami. Das nächste Tuch ist auch schon in Arbeit. Die Wolle ist von Drops und einfach herrlich zu verstricken und die Färbung ist wunderschön. Für das Tuch habe ich drei Knäuel verwendet und nicht einmal war der Faden verknotet. Das Zackenmuster habe ich auch schon bei meinem Sky Scarf verwendet. Es läßt mich anscheinend nicht los. 

The shawl has long been ready, but again I wasn't in the mood for taking pictures. Yes strange but I don't like photography so much. But yesterday I did it. Right now I'm knitting like crazy. The hotter the weather, the better mommy knits. The next piece is already in work. The yarn is from Drops and easy to knit, gorgeous and the coloring is beautiful. For the shawl I used three balls and not in one was a knot. The waves pattern I've already used in my Sky Scarf.

Sunday Sweets - Sonntagssüß

Diesmal hat mein Mann den Schneebesen geschwungen und eine Kardinalschnitte gezaubert, die ihm hervorragend gelungen ist. Sowas von lecker, mit frischen Erdbeeren und Erdbeermarmelade. Schönen Sonntag!

This time my husband has swung the whisk and conjured a Cardinal Slice, which is absolutely delicious. So exquisite, with fresh strawberries and strawberry jam. Happy Sunday!

Strawberry Time - Erdbeerzeit

Ich bin heute schon fleißig gewesen. Einen Teil Erdbeermarmelade habe ich schon eingekocht, bald folgt der nächste Schwung. Am Wochenende waren wir im Burgenland und haben viele Körbchen Erdbeeren geholt. Kind und Mann haben den Bestand schon erheblich dezimiert. Ich muss mich beeilen, damit ich noch ein paar Gläser Marmelade machen kann. Ich verwende immer alle Gläser, die so im Haushalt anfallen und einen Schraubverschluss haben und auch eher klein sind. Gekauft habe ich ganz selten welche. 

I've been busy today. I made one part of strawberry jam, soon followed by the next part. Last weekend we were in Burgenland (federal state of Austria) and brought many baskets strawberries with us. Child and husband have already decimated the stock. I have to hurry, so I can make a few jars of jam. I always re-use glasses with a screw lid and which are also rather small. Very rarely I bought some new glasses.

A Little Hiking - Ein bisschen Wandern

Ich muss noch von unserem Vatertagsausflug erzählen. Dort wo unser Mädchen im Winter am liebsten Schi fährt, treiben wir uns auch gerne in der schneefreien Zeit herum - in Mönichkirchen im Wechselgebiet. Unser Ziel ist das Hallerhaus, die bevorzugte Einkehrhütte beim Schifahren. Sowohl Sessellift als auch Hütte sind ganzjährig in Betrieb und geöffnet. Wenn man das erste Stück bequem per Sessellift zurücklegt, dann ist die Hütte nurmehr etwa 40 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. 

I still have to tell from our Father's Day trip. Where our girl in winter prefer to ski, we also like to visit in the snow-free time - Mönichkirchen. Our goal is the Haller house, the preferred stop for a snack lodge when skiing. Both chair lift and ski lodge are open all year. If you comfortably travel the first hop by chair lift, then the lodge is about 40 minutes away by foot.

Today - Heute

Heute ist der perfekte Tag! Schulfrei und heiß. Das Kind gut gelaunt, die Prüfungen sind vorbei. Da kann man in Ruhe die Füße hochlegen und sich die Sonne durchs grüne Blätterdach der Felsenbirne auf den Bauch scheinen lassen. Total perfekt wär's natürlich, wenn auch der Hausherr zu Hause wäre und mit uns diesen Tag genießen könnte. Ich wünsche euch allen einen wunderschönen Tag! 

Today is the perfect day! No school and hot. Child is cheerful, the exams are over. Time to put your feet up and rest in the sun under the green canopy of the Juneberry. Total perfectly it would be of course, if the man of the house was at home and could enjoy this day with us. I wish you all a wonderful day!

Strechau Castle - Burg Strechau

Meine Schwiegermutter feierte 75. Geburtstag und da sie in Kärnten lebt und wir in Niederösterreich, treffen wir uns meistens irgendwo in der Mitte in einer Gegend, die wir nicht kennen. Diesmal haben wir die Renaissance Burg Strechau nahe der Stadt Rottenmann in der Steiermark besucht. In der Burg ist auch die Oldtimer-Sammlung der Boesch Privatstiftung beheimatet. Die Burg ist hervorragend restauriert und wird teilweise auch bewohnt, der Ausblick ist atemberaubend schön, ein Schmuckstück und einen Ausflug auf alle Fälle wert.

My mother in law celebrated her 75th birthday and since she lives in Carinthia and we in Lower Austria, we meet mostly somewhere in the middle in an area that we do not know. This time we visited the Renaissance Castle Strechau near the town of Rottenmann in Styria. Also located in the castle is an impressive collection of historic automobiles by the Boesch private foundation. The castle is superbly restored and the view is breathtakingly beautiful, a gem and well worth a visit in any case.

Replacement Stitch Marker - Ersatzmaschenmarkierer

Kürzlich musste ich nachträglich ins Strickstück Maschenmarkierer anbringen, damit ich das Muster einteilen kann. Ich habe aber nur solche mit einem Ring. Normalerweise, wenn ich ein oder zwei Markierungen brauche, nehme ich meine Ohrringe, aber diesmal habe ich 300 Maschen auf der Nadel und ich habe mich dauernd verzählt, also wollte ich den Mustersatz durchmarkieren. So viele Ohrringe habe ich leider nicht, damit sich das ausgeht. Also bin ich durchs Haus gelaufen und habe überall nach was passendem gesucht und schließlich Vorhanghaken gefunden. Hat prima funktioniert.

Recently I had to add subsequently stitch markers to my knitting work, so I can partitioning the pattern. But I have only those with a ring. Usually when I need one or two marks I take my earrings, but this time I have 300 stitches on the needle and I miscounted constantly. I haven't so many earrings to mark the whole pattern. So I ran through the house and I have been looking everywhere for something properly and finally found curtain hooks. It worked just fine.

Roses

War das nicht ein traumhaft schönes Wochenende! Es wurde Regen angesagt, aber er kam nicht. Sonne total! Wir haben nur im Garten gewerkelt, da gibt es im Frühjahr viel zu tun. Ganz toll ist momentan die beginnende Rosenblüte. 

Wasn't that a fantastic weekend! The weatherforecast was rain but he didn't show up. Just sunny! We did some work in the garden, since there is much to do in spring. Currently the blooming roses are breathtaking. 

eReader Case - eBook Reader Hülle

Endlich fertig! O Mann, dieses kleine Ding hat ewig gebraucht. Nicht, weil es vielleicht besonders schwierig zu fertigen war, sondern weil ich soviel überlegen musste, um alle Features unterzubringen. Mein kleiner leider nicht besonders geliebter (weil ich lieber Papier-Bücher lese) eBook Reader musste lange auf sein Mäntelchen warten. Ich wollte eine alte Jeans dafür verwenden, es musste eine Hosentasche drauf sein, ich wollte Häkelblumen drauf haben, außerdem wollte ich eine Aufhängung haben und ich wollte auch das Ladekabel unterbringen. Ich habe sogar nachts davon geträumt, aber es ist mir gelungen. Es ist so wie ich es wollte. Sehr gut! 

Finally done! O man, this little thing has taken forever. Not because it was difficult to manufacture, but because I had so much to think about to accommodate all the features. My little unfortunately not very beloved (because I prefer to read paper books) eBook Reader have to wait long for his cover. I wanted to use an old jeans for it, it had a pocket to be on it, I wanted crocheted flowers on it and I also wanted to have a handle and I wanted to store the charging cable in it. I even dreamed at night of it but I managed. It's exactly like I wanted it. Very good!

Und jetzt hängt es an meinem Bücherregal und wartet auf Benutzung.

Cool Wool - Tolle Wolle

Diesmal ein Tipp für alle Wollfans in Österreich. Bei MEALANA Wolle gibt's Wolle von Drops zu tollen Preisen. Der Shop ist ziemlich neu und derzeit versenden sie nur in Österreich. Ich mag besonders u.a. die Einteilung nach Wollqualitäten, da brauche ich nicht lange herum suchen, um meine bevorzugte Zusammensetzung zu finden. Ich habe gestern mein Paket bekommen, damit werde ich mein Entrelac Projekt in Angriff nehmen. 
Edit: Die liebe Barbara, die Inhaberin von Mealana Wolle, hat mir im Kommentar mitgeteilt, dass seit kurzem auch in die Nachbarländer geliefert wird. Also, dann gibt es jetzt kein Halten mehr. Momentan Aktion -35%!

I got my new yarn delivery and I love the colors. The more orange yarn is called TEXMEX and the wool below is called RAINBOW. Lovely! These are for my entrelac project which I will start shortly.

Gray-White Shawl - Grauweißes Tuch

Mein Fichu-Schal ist fertig. Das mit dem Spannen hab ich noch nicht so raus. Bei mir ist ein Zackenrand draus geworden, im Original aber nicht. Ist egal, so gefällt es mir eh besser. Ich hab wieder einige Änderungen vorgenommen, die kann man alle auf meiner Ravelry-Seite nachlesen. 

My fichu scarf is finished. I think I still have to figure out the thing with blocking. My scarf gets a jaggy edge, different than the original. Well I don't care, I like it better that way. I have made ​​some changes that you can read on my Ravelry page.

Happy Mother's Day - Schönen Muttertag

Unser Muttertagsausflug fiel förmlich ins Wasser. Ganze Sturzfluten kamen da vom Himmel runter. Aber das Ersatzprogramm konnte sich auch sehen lassen. Mein Mann ist ein Planer und war natürlich auf alle Eventualitäten vorbereitet.
Wir besuchten die Amethyst Welt Maissau. Hier wurde um 1845 ein violettfarbener Quarzgang entdeckt, aber erst 1999 mit Bodenuntersuchungen begonnen und eine tolle Anlage rundum das Amethystvorkommen gebaut. Auch wenn man sich nicht für Mineralien interessiert, ist man von der Schönheit der Edelsteine fasziniert. Unbedingt den Shop besuchen, wo man sich mit Heil-, Schmeichel-, Trommelsteinen und Schmuck aus Edelsteinen jeder Art eindecken kann. 

Our Mother's Day trip was washed away by heavy rain. But the replacement program was also great. My husband is a planner and was of course prepared for all eventualities.
We visited the Amethyst Deposit Maissau. A purple-colored quartz vein was discovered here in 1845, but they only started in 1999 with ground surveys and built a great exhibition facility all around the amethyst. Even if you are not interested in minerals, one is fascinated by the beauty of gemstones. Be sure to visit the shop, where you can find every kind of medicinal stones, drum stones and jewelrys.

So und jetzt wünsche ich allen noch einen schönen restlichen Muttertag.

Entrelac

Momentan fesselt mich diese Stricktechnik sehr. Im Netz gibt sehr viele tolle Anleitungen für Schals. Aber ich habe auch Dreieckstücher gesehen und da habe ich gestern auf diesem Probestück herum getüftelt und ich glaube ich habe den Bogen raus. Es gibt auch Tücher, wo am Rand kleine Zacken sind. Ich weiß noch nicht was mir besser gefällt. Vielleicht probiere ich auch erstmal einen Schal. 

Currently I am very much fascinated by this knitting technique. On the net are a lot of great instructions for scarves. But I've also seen shawls and since I have fiddles about with this technique yesterday, I think I have the hang of it. There are also shawls where on the edge are small triangles. I do not know which I like better. Maybe I'll try first a scarf.

Gardening or Nail Polish Season - Garteln oder Nagellacksaison

Die Zeit fliegt! Momentan braucht der Garten meine ganze Aufmerksamkeit. Kaum hat's aufgehört zu regnen, bin ich schon auf dem Rasentraktor gesessen. Ein kleines Stück Rasen wurde angelegt, Lavendel und Tomaten gepflanzt, das Gemüsebeet vorbereitet, und vieles mehr (das schreibe ich aus, weil sonst klingt's nach wenig).
In dieser Zeit lackiere ich immer meine Fingernägel, weil irgendwann kriege ich die dunklen Ränder unter den Nägeln nicht mehr weg. Wenn ich in den Garten gehe, habe ich meistens Handschuhe an, aber irgendwann fliegen die weg, weil ich kein Gefühl darin habe - daher Nagellacksaison. 

Time is slipping away! Currently, the garden needs all my attention. As soon as rain has stopped, I'm already sitting on the riding mover. A small piece of lawn was made, planted lavender and tomatoes, prepared the vegetable bed, and much more (I don't abbreviate cause otherwise it sounds less).
During this time I always paint my fingernails, because at some point I can't get rid off the dark shadows under my nails. When I go into the garden, I usually wear gloves but at one point the fly away because I had no feeling in it - hence nail polish season.

Artmuseum Vienna - Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien

Gestern war ich vormittags beim Zahnarzt und wenn schon in der Stadt (also in Wien), dann kann man da ja gleich was machen. Es regnete und es war kalt, also war ein Museumsbesuch genau richtig. Unser Mädchen (8 Jahre) war noch nie im Kunsthistorischen Museum in Wien und ich war ehrlich gesagt seit meiner Studienzeit auch nicht mehr dort. Weil meine Tochter sich nichts unter einem Kunstmuseum vorstellen konnte, erzählte ich ihr von Gemälden, die größer sind als unsere Hauswand und von großen Goldschätzen. Mehr brauchte ich nicht zu sagen.

Yesterday morning I was at the dentist and if already in the city (in Vienna), then you can have some fun too. It was raining and it was cold, so a visit to the museum was just the right thing. Our girlie (8 yrs old) has never been to the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna and honestly I wasn't there since my college days. She has no idea of what to see in an artmuseum, so I told her of paintings bigger than the wall of our house and of gold treasures. I didn't need to say anymore.

Part-time Vegan - Teilzeitvegan

Meine Kleine hat in der Schule über die Fastenzeit, über Verzicht, über die 40 Tage bis Ostern gehört. Um ihr das besser zu verdeutlichen, haben wir besprochen, auf was wir bis Ostern verzichten wollen und haben uns auf folgende Dinge geeinigt:

• keine gekauften Süßigkeiten (wenn ich selber einen Kuchen backe, ist das ok)
  
• kein Schweinefleisch (weil wir es eh nicht so gut vertragen)
  
• kein Fleisch von Montag-Freitag (am Wochenende schon, weil mein Mann ein Fleischtiger ist)
  
• kein weißes Brot (Semmel, Kipferl, Salzstangerl)
  
• und ich werde versuchen unser Brot selbst zu backen. Ich habe einen Brotbackautomaten, werde aber auch ausprobieren, Brote im Backofen zu backen.
  

Dann sah ich die tolle Dokumentation "Gabel statt Skalpell", wo ein direkter Zusammenhang zwischen veganer Ernährung und Heilung bewiesen wurde. Ich diskutiere jetzt nicht die Doku, ob glaubhaft oder nicht. Fakt ist, dass ich tief beeindruckt war, und wenn ich schon von Montag bis Freitag vegetarisch lebe, dann kann ich das auch vegan machen. Ich habe mich im Internet schlau gemacht und mir folgende Kochbücher im Fachhandel ausgesucht. 

My little one has learned in school about Lent, about asceticism 40 days until Easter. To demonstrate her better, we discussed on what we want to give up until Easter and have agreed on the following things:

• any purchased candy (when I bake a cake myself, it's ok )
• no pork
• no meat from Monday to Friday (but yet weekends cause my husband is a true meat eater)
• no white bread 
• and I'll try to bake our bread myself. I have a bread machine but also try to bake bread in the oven.

Then I watched the great documentary "Forks Over Knives" where a direct link between a vegan diet and healing was demonstrated. I do not want to discuss the document whether credible or not. The fact is that I was deeply impressed and when I live from Monday to Friday vegetarian already, then I can also make it vegan. I have made myself smart on the Internet about the whole vegan issue and picked me some vegan cookbooks.

Chickens and Eggs - Küken und Eier

Schon einmal habe ich diese süßen Küken gehäkelt - klick HIER, aber diesmal auch mit Nest und die werden an meine Patenkinder verschenkt. Das Nestchen habe ich mir selbst ausgedacht. Die Tulpe wollte ich gestern eigentlich ausgraben und umpflanzen, habe aber leider zu wenig tief mit dem Spaten rein gestochen. Uups! Die kleine Vase war mal eine Flasche für Rotweinessig. 

Once before I crocheted this cute chickens - click HERE, but this time I made a nest too and I will give them away to my godchildren. The nest I made up myself. The tulip I killed yesterday, actually I wanted to replant it but unfortunately I dug somewhat not deep enough. Oops! The small vase was once a bottle of red wine vinegar.

Hier seht ihr eine hübsche Glasschüssel. Ich hab mal Äpfel rein getan. Die Schüssel ist aus einem kaputt gegangenen Haushaltsgerät, das mein Mann zerlegt hat. 

Here you can see a pretty glass bowl. I put in apples. The bowl is from a broken household appliance that was dismantled by my husband.

Lunch - Mittagessen

Heute gab es wieder ratzfatz Kartoffelspirali und Stöpsel mit Ketchup. Dazu noch eine Gemüsepfanne vom fahrenden Hauszusteller. Ich habe früher schon mal beschrieben (siehe Link unterhalb) wie sehr ich die Apfel- und Kartoffelschälmaschine liebe, auch jetzt noch nach Jahren.

Today's lunch were potato spirals and stoppers (the inner parts of a potato) with ketchup and fried vegetables. I have described in another post (see link below) how much I love the apple and potato peeler, even now after many years.

Lace Shawl Bordeaux - Tuch Bordeaux

Schon lange fertig, aber endlich fotografiert. Das Tuch ist sehr schnell und einfach gestrickt, dennoch habe ich ein paar Modifikationen eingearbeitet, kann man alles HIER (Link zu meiner Ravelry Seite) nachlesen.

Muffins: Higher is prettier - Höher ist hübscher

Mit Muffins hatte ich es bisher nicht so. Ich habe es sehr selten geschafft, dass sie ein hübsch hohes kugeliges Köpfchen bekommen. 

I had my problems with muffins. I've managed it very rarely that they have a pretty high head.

Am Freitag habe ich mal wieder so armselig aussehende Muffins gebacken. Gut sind sie ja, aber nicht hübsch. Nach einigen Recherchen im Internet und einem angeblich todsicheren Rezept, sehen sie so aus. Schon besser, oder? 

The First Green - Das erste Grün

... dieses Jahres fiel mir unangenehm auf. Nicht jedes Grün im Frühling entzückt mich. Im konkreten Fall: Unkraut! Zwischen den Gartenplatten. Und es ist schon ziemlich gut entwickelt. Naja, der Winter war ja diesmal nix. Die Tage unter Null kann man an einer Hand abzählen. Ich will gar nicht dran denken, wie sich das auf die Anzahl der Schädlinge ausgewirkt hat.  

... this year struck me uncomfortable. Not every green in spring delights me. In this specific case: weed! Between the paving slabs. And it's pretty well developed. Well, winter was indeed this time very half-hearted. The days below zero can be counted on one hand. I don't want to think about how this has impacted on the number of pests.

New Clothes For Our Doll - Neue Kleider für das Püppchen

Das Püppchen hat ein neues Kleid bekommen und ein Mützchen gleich dazu. Herrlich so kleine Sachen zu stricken, das geht so schnell. Und das muss es auch, weil das Mädchen neben mir steht und schon drauf wartet. Meine Kleine spielt gerne mit der Strikkedukker Puppe, hätte ich jetzt nicht unbedingt erwartet. Mein Mädchen ist keine Puppenspielerin, nicht mal mit Barbies. Kenne ich jetzt nicht von mir, ich war eine leidenschaftliche Puppenspielerin, sogar bis ins Teeniealter, wo es eigentlich schon wieder peinlich ist. 

The doll got a new dress and a little hat. It's great to knit small things they are ready in no time. And it must because the girl was standing next to me and waiting for the clothes. My girlie likes to play with the Strikkedukker doll, I would not necessarily expect that. My girl is not a puppeteer, not even with Barbies. I was a passionate puppeteer, even into the teenage years where it actually is embarrassing.

Cantuccini Biscotti

Das sind die Lieblingskekse meines Mannes und das Mädel und ich haben sie auch sehr gerne. Endlich habe ich sie mal selber gemacht, nach DIESEM Rezept. Geht super schnell und schmeckt so lecker, dass man auf die überteuerten gekauften gerne verzichten kann. 
2 Tipps: Die Rollen wirklich nach etwa 10-15 Minuten in Stücke schneiden, weil sonst die Oberfläche verkrustet und die Stücke beim Schneiden zerbrechen. 
Irgendwo habe ich gelesen, dass man die Kekse in Blechdosen lagern soll, damit sie nicht weich werden. Habe ich gemacht und sie sind auch schön knusprig geblieben. 

Mmmmh, erinnert mich an unseren Urlaub in der Toskana ...

These are my husband's favorite cookies and the girlie and I also like them very much. Finally I have made ​​it by myself. It is super fast and tastes so delicious that you can give up the overpriced purchased biscotti.
2 tips: Cut the rolls really after about 10-15 minutes into pieces, because otherwise the surface will be too crusty and the pieces will break when cutting.
I read somewhere that you should store the cookies in tins, so they will not become soft. I did it and they are still crispy.

Mmmmh, reminds me on our holidays in Tuscany ...

Short Break in Munich - Kurzurlaub in München

München liegt von meinem Heimatort in Ostösterreich nur etwa 4 Stunden entfernt. Momentan sind Semesterferien, also rein ins Auto und auf nach Bayern. Zwei Tage München bei herrlichem Wetter mit: 

Marienplatz mit Neuem Rathaus (Glockenspiel), dahinter sieht man die Frauenkirche 
Viktualienmarkt 
Hofbräuhaus (Mann muss da rein ;)
Dampfnudeln (Frau muss das kosten ;)
Kleines Yarn Bombing vorm Schauspielhaus 

Außerdem noch Besuch des Deutschen Museum, der Asamkirche, und natürlich viel Shopping. Wir haben viel reingepackt in diese zwei Tage, unsere Füße haben geglüht. Schön war's!
