J wie Jeansstoff

Zum Buchstaben "J" fiel mir diesmal sofort das Wort Jeans ein. Ich freue mich über jede alte kaputte Jeans, denn für mich ist das ein super Werkstoff. Ist die Jeans nur am unteren Ende kaputt, wird zuerst noch eine kurze Hose daraus gemacht, bis sie dann wirklich die Reise ins Nähzimmer antreten darf. Alte Jeans werden ausgeschlachtet und zu neuen Sachen upgecycelt. Meistens Taschen. Jede Art von Taschen, klein, groß, einfach oder kompliziert.

This time, the word "J" immediately came to mind. I'm happy about any old, torn pair of jeans because, to me, they're a great material. If the jeans are only torn at the bottom, they're first made into shorts before they can finally make their way to the sewing room. Old jeans are gutted and upcycled into new things. Mostly bags. All kinds of bags, small, large, simple, or complicated. 

Mir gefällt, dass man Jeansstoff so gut wie mit allem kombinieren kann: bunte Stoffe, gehäkelte Spitze, Spitzenborten, Applikationen, Markenetiketten. Und die Ergebnisse sehen immer gut aus und fallen auf und halten auch was aus.
