12tel Blick 2026 - Jänner

Ich bin wieder mit dabei, beim 12tel Blick. Zurück in meinem Garten. Die zündende Idee zu diesem Blick aus dem Dachfenster hatte mein Mann und wahrscheinlich machte er einen Scherz, aber mich hatte es schon gepackt. Unten sieht man noch zwei andere Perspektiven aus dem Dachfenster, aber letztendlich wurde es dieses. Es zeigt den Blick auf unseren Garten in Richtung Süden und wie man sieht ist er sehr schmal, aber auch sehr lang auf den Hügel rauf. Momentan bei Schneelage ist es ideal zum Bobfahren. Wir haben ein Jahrhundertwendehaus aus 1880, also Altbau. Wenn ich aus dem Dachfenster schaue (in dem Fall das rechte) bin ich etwa 9 Meter oder mehr über dem Boden oder im 3. Stockwerk eines modernen Hauses. 

I'm back again for the photo challenge 2026. Back in my yard. The brilliant idea for this view from the skylight came from my husband, and he was probably joking, but I was already hooked. Below you can see two other perspectives from the skylight, but this is the one I ultimately chose. It shows the view of our garden facing south, and as you can see, it's very narrow but also very long, stretching up the hill. With the snow right now, it's perfect for sledding. We have a turn-of-the-century house from 1880, so it's an old building. When I look out of the skylight (in this case, the one on the right), I'm about 9 or more meters above the ground, or on the third floor of a modern house. 

Ich habe verschiedene Probefotos aus beiden Dachfenstern auf dieser Seite gemacht, um den richtigen Winkel zu finden. Hier habe ich mich nach links nach Osten gewandt Richtung Ortsmitte. Der Kirchturm macht sich zwar gut, aber ich will ja nicht die Grundstücke der Nachbarn abbilden. Dennoch finde ich, dass Wald, Hügel und auch Himmel einen guten Hintergrund abgeben. 

I took several test photos from both skylights on this side to find the right angle. Here, I turned left, towards the east, in the direction of the town center. The church steeple looks good, but I don't want to include the neighbors' properties in the shot. Nevertheless, I think the forest, hills, and sky make a good background.

Dieses Foto hier fand ich total süß, weil von der Dachfensterklappe kleine Eiszapfen hängen, aber das ist ja auch nur jetzt und im restlichen Jahr wäre da nur ein grauer Rahmen. Auf meinem 12tel Bild sieht man auch viele Elemente aus früheren Jahren wie z.B. den Walnussbaum, meine beiden Hochbeete, das Schmetterlingsbeet (bzw. Steinbeet wie ich es jetzt nenne), den Poolplatz, wo derzeit noch der Lichterstern steht, den mein Mann mir vor Weihnachten gebaut hat, und ganz links unten sieht man noch ein paar Äste der Magnolie, und in mittlerer Höhe des Gartens ist das Rosenbeet, das ich auch mal dokumentierte. 

I thought this picture above was absolutely adorable because there are little icicles hanging from the skylight, but that's only now, and for the rest of the year it would just be a gray frame. In my 2026 picture you can also see many elements from previous years, such as the walnut tree, my two raised beds, the butterfly garden (or rock garden, as I now call it), the pool area where the light star my husband made for me before Christmas is currently located, and in the bottom left corner you can still see a few branches of the magnolia, and in the middle of the garden is the rose bed, which I also documented at one point.

Worum geht's bei dieser Aktion? 12 Mal im Jahr, also jeden Monat, macht man von der gleichen Stelle aus ein Foto mit demselben Blick und kann so dann die Veränderungen dokumentieren. Wenn man die Fotos dann in eine Collage zusammenfügt, sieht das sehr reizvoll aus. Gastgeberin dieser Aktion ist Eva von verfuchstundzugenäht. Dort wird gesammelt und man kann sich die anderen Teilnehmer anschauen. Sehr spannend!

What is this photoproject about? 12 times a year, so every month, you take a picture from the very same place with the exactly same view and can then document this way the changes over the year. If you put the pictures together in a collage, that looks very intriguing. The hostess of this link party is Eva and her blog verfuchstundzugenäht. She collects every month the pictures and you can look at the other participants. Very exciting!
