Salzkammergut

Unser Kurztrip ins Salzkammergut fiel auf die heißesten Tage des Sommers. Es war auch in den Bergen noch heiß, aber nachts angenehm kühl ohne Klimaanlage. Die Seen, die Berge, die Almen, die kleinen Städte, die Luft, die Stimmung, die unbeschwerte Sommerlaune - es war zum Niederknien schön.

On the hottest days of the summer we enjoyed our short trip to the Salzkammergut. It was still hot even in the mountains, but pleasantly cool at night without air conditioning. The lakes, the mountains, the alpine pastures, the small towns, the air, the atmosphere, the carefree summer mood – it was breathtakingly beautiful. 

Hallstatt

Der kleine Ort Hallstatt am Hallstätter See ist sehr touristisch. Wir waren am Abend dort als alle Ausflugsbusse weg waren und wieder Ruhe in das entzückende Dorf einkehrte. Seit Hallstatt in einer koreanischen TV-Serie vorkam und in China eine Kopie des Ortes gebaut wurde, müssen die 737 Einwohner mit 1 Million Touristen jährlich klar kommen. 

The small village Hallstatt on Lake Hallstatt is very touristy. We were there in the evening when all the tour buses had left and peace had returned to the charming village. Since Hallstatt was featured in a Korean TV series and a copy of the town was built in China, the 737 residents have had to cope with 1 million tourists annually.
