Jahresprojekt 2025 - Oktober

Stricken für die Spendenkiste

Oktober war unser Urlaubsmonat und so schaffte ich nicht viel. Meine Wollvorräte schwinden und das ist gut so, denn das Jahr schwindet auch und das Projekt neigt sich dem Ende zu. Und ich habe gute Neuigkeiten. Ich habe im Internet nach geeigneten Hilfsorganisationen gesucht und auf Anhieb eine gefunden, die die Mützen auch sofort brauchen. Die kalte Jahreszeit hat begonnen. Nächsten Monat werde ich ausführlich über die Organisation berichten. Ich werde mein Projekt daher auch in diesem Monat beenden. Ich möchte die Mützen demnächst abgeben und nicht bis Ende Dezember warten.

Knitting for Charity

October was our vacation month, so I didn't get much done. My yarn stash almost disappeared, which is a good thing, because the year is also drawing to a close and the project is nearing its end. And I have good news. I searched online for suitable charities and immediately found one that needs the hats right away. The cold season has begun. Next month I'll report on the organization in detail. I'll therefore finish my project this month. I want to hand over the hats soon and not wait until the end of December. 

Und ich habe diese süßen Kleeblattanhänger gefunden und werde die Mützen damit verzieren. Jeder der eine meiner Mützen erhält, bekommt hoffentlich auch ein bisschen Glück mitgeliefert. Ein paar Mützen habe ich noch gestrickt, also gibt es im Dezember noch genug zu erzählen. 

And I found these cute clover charms and will use them to decorate the hats. Hopefully, everyone who receives one of my hats will also get a little bit of luck along with it. I've knitted a few more hats, so there will be plenty to talk about in December.
