Jahresprojekt 2026 - Februar

Nähmaschine benutzen

Mein Jahresprojekt ist ja mindestens einmal im Monat meine Nähmaschinen zu benutzen, entweder um ein neues Projekt zu nähen oder/und eine Reparatur durchzuführen. Im Februar habe ich zwei große Servietten für den Brotkorb genäht. Stoffe waren vorhanden. Zum einen ein Leinen-/Baumwollgemisch, das unmöglich glatt zu bügeln ist. Zum anderen eine Baumwolltischdecke von meiner Oma, wo ich die bestickten Ecken verwendete. Ein simples, schnelles Projekt, das schon Jahre auf seine Ausführung wartete. Daher bin ich sehr zufrieden damit. 

Using my sewing machine

My annual project is to use my sewing machine at least once a month, either to sew a new project or to do a repair. In February, I sewed two large napkins for the bread basket. I already had the fabrics in my stash. One was a linen/cotton blend that's impossible to iron smooth. The other was a cotton tablecloth from my grandmother, from which I used the embroidered corners. A simple, quick project that had been waiting for years to be completed. So I'm very pleased with it.
