Photo Deco

Das Spielhaus meiner Kleinen ist im Garten vom Haus aus nicht zu sehen und daher fühlt sie sich dort manchmal etwas einsam. Also haben wir Fotos ausgesucht (von Eltern, Hund, Katze und bester Freundin), sind zum nächsten Drogeriemarkt gegangen und haben sie dort gleich ausgedruckt. 

The playhouse of my little one in the garden is not visible from the house and therefore she feels a bit lonely there sometimes. So we selected photos (of parents, pets and best friend), went to the nearest drugstore and havethem printed out there immediately.



Dann habe ich ein paar Overheadfolien und Klarsichthüllen genommen und mit Stoff und Schrägband die Folien zusammengenäht und abgeteilt. 

Then I took a few overhead transparencies and plastic covers and sewed them together with fabric and bias tape and made some section for the pictures.

Ich habe den selben Stoff genommen wie für die Wimpelkette, die auch schon im Häuschen hängt. 

I used the same fabric as for the bunting which also already hang in the hut.

Fertig! Ich habe die Fotos einfach eingenäht, man kann das Teil aber sicher auch so konzipieren, dass man eine Öffnung lässt. Aber falls wir mal die Fotos wechseln, dann schneide ich einen Schlitz mit einem Teppichmesser und nähe das nachher wieder zu. Ratzfatz, ohne viel Aufwand. 

Done! I sewed the photos in but you can design some openings. If we change the pictures then I cut a slit with a razor knife and sew it together again. Simple, without much fuss.

Die Spielhütte ist innen ziemlich shabby chic, aber das wird dieses Jahr auch nicht mehr geändert. Oder vielleicht auch nie. 

The playhouse is pretty shabby chic inside but that won’t be changed this year any more or maybe never.
