O wie Obstbaum, Obstbaumblüten, Obstbaumwiese
Wir haben einen sehr großen Garten, ein Viertel Ziergarten und drei Viertel Obstbaumwiese. Auf der Obstbaumwiese stehen Apfel-, Birn- und Zwetschkenbäume. Sie ist ansteigend und bei Schnee kann man super Bobfahren. Die Bäume blühen zuverlässig jedes Jahr wunderschön und geben mal mehr, mal weniger Früchte ab. Und außer Obst klauben, Wiese mähen und alle paar Jahre einige Zweiglein schneiden eine pflegeleichte Sache, daher ganz große Liebe für die Obstbaumwiese.

Wahrscheinlich haben Wühlmäuse den Baum in Schieflage gebracht. Seit 20 Jahren warten wir darauf, dass er umfällt. Trotzdem produziert er weiterhin köstliche Tafelbirnen. O is for Orchard
We have a very large garden, a quarter ornamental garden and three-quarters orchard. The orchard has apple, pear, and plum trees. It slopes gently, and when it snows, it's great for sledding. The trees reliably blossom beautifully every year and produce varying amounts of fruit. And apart from picking fruit, mowing the lawn, and pruning a few branches every few years, it's very low-maintenance, which is why we love our orchard so much.

Liebe Rosi! Genau so ist es. In einem guten Apfeljahr, pressen wir über 100 Liter Apfel- und Birnensaft. Zwetschken werden zu Kuchen und Marmelade.

DeleteI think you are fortunate enough to grow these delicious fruits of plums, apples and pears. Orchards are very rare to find in the urban set up in our region. Thanks for sharing with Garden Affair.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I love my orchard. It isn't so special in my region cause every of my neighbours has one. And if you have just a smaller property it is still usual to plant at least one fruit tree in your yard.
