Stricken für die Spendenkiste

Also letzten Monat habe ich erzählt, dass ich ein Eichhörnchen wäre, weil ich Wolle wie Nüsse verstecke. Tja, was soll ich sagen, ich habe schon wieder Wolle gefunden. Versteckt unter meinem Nähtisch in einem Kübel. Und zwar Färbewolle. 10 Stränge! Die hätte ich zwar verkaufen können, aber beim Gedanken an Färben, dachte ich sofort an Spaß. Aber davon erzähle ich in einem eigenen Post. 
Im Juli bin ich fleißig gewesen und habe 10 Mützen gestrickt. Zusammenpassende Wollknäuel habe ich fast nicht mehr, manche Farbkombinationen sind gewagt. Ein unaufmerksamer Augenblick meiner Tochter im Supermarkt und sie hat mich in der Wollabteilung wieder gefunden. Ganz energisch hat mich mein Mädel (19) aus diesem Gang entfernt. Zum Glück habe ich zuhause die Färbewolle gefunden. 

Knitting for Charity

So, last month I told you I was a squirrel because I hide wool like nuts. Well, what can I say? I've found wool again. Hidden under my sewing table in a bucket. It was wool yarn for dyeing. 10 skeins! I could have sold them, but the thought of dyeing immediately made me think of fun. But I'll tell you about that in a separate post.
In July, I was busy and knitted 10 hats. I almost don't have any matching balls of wool anymore; some of the color combinations are daring. One moment of inattention from my daughter in the supermarket, and she found me in the wool section. My daughter (19) firmly removed me from that aisle. Luckily, I found the wool yarn to dye for at home.
