Colorful Crochet Stars - Bunte Häkelsterne

Habe ich schon mal erwähnt, dass ich Pinterest liebe? Die Vielfalt an Tipps und Inspiration an einem Ort ist unübertrefflich. Gebt in die Suche (am besten auf englisch) ein, was ihr sucht und seid überrascht.
Ich habe diese tollen bunten Häkelsterne gefunden und anhand der Bilder versucht, sie nachzuarbeiten. Wie immer bei so bunten Sachen, gibt es eine Menge Fäden zu vernähen. Die anderen habe ich schon gespannt und mit Sprühstärke eingesprüht, daher sehen die Farben etwas gedämpft aus, weil die Sterne tropfnass sind.

I found this great colorful crochet stars and I tried to rework it. As always with such colorful things, there are a lot of threads to sew. The others I've already blocked and treated with spray starch, so the colors look a bit muted because the stars are dripping wet.

Winter Garland

Die Fotos sind mehr als bescheiden, aber in echt schaut die Girlande total süß aus. Die Anleitungen findet ihr auf Pinterest HIER und HIER.

Ich habe die Bäumchen und Sterne aus dicker Wolle gehäkelt, hat den Vorteil, dass sie sich nicht einrollen, aber das zarte Muster kommt nicht so rüber. Die nächsten werde ich aus Baumwolle häkeln, die kann ich dann bügeln und stärken. Vielleicht mache ich sie auch etwas bunter.

I crocheted the trees and stars of thick wool, that has the advantage that they do not roll but you cannot see the delicate pattern. The next ones I'll crochet out of cotton that I can treat with starch and iron. Perhaps even I make them more colorful.

I Am Pleased - Ich freue mich

... über meinen Weihnachtskaktus (schlumbergera), dass er 1. sich entschlossen hat, nach zwei Jahren wieder zu blühen und dass er es 2. zur richtigen Zeit vor oder zu Weihnachten macht. Letztes Jahr bekam die Pflanze ganz viele Knospen zu Ostern, die dann alle abfielen. An dieser Stelle muss ich gestehen, dass mein Verhältnis zu Zimmerpflanzen ein zwiespältiges ist. Ich liebe sie zu sehr, sprich ich gieße sie zu Tode. Bekomme ich welche geschenkt, versuche ich immer sie im nächsten Jahr wieder zum Blühen zu animieren (sollten sie bis dahin noch leben). Manche Töpfchen werden ja vom Blumenhandel so gezogen, dass sie nur einmal und zwar zum Zeitpunkt des Kaufes blühen und dann kann man sie eigentlich kompostieren. Aber ich versuche es immer sie weiter zu ziehen. Und ich habe gelernt, dass man es bei Primeln (primula) echt vergessen kann. Im Topf kommen die nicht wieder. Die pflanze ich nach der Blütezeit in den Garten, aber auch wenn ich rote, lila und fuchsiafarbene Primeln in die Erde pflanze, raus kommen immer nur gelbe. Aber die sind im Frühling auch schön ;)

I am pleased with my Christmas cactus (schlumbergera) that it first has decided to bloom again after two years and that secondly at the right time to Christmas. Last year the plant has quite a lot of buds on Easter then all fell off. At this point I must confess that my relationship to houseplants is an ambivalent one. I love them too much say I pour them to death. If I get potted plants I always try to encourage them to return next year to bloom (if they should live that long). Some pots are drawn by florists that they bloom only once at the time of purchase and then you can compost them properly. But I always try to nurse them. And I've learned that you can forget it for primroses (primula). The potted primroses do not come back. I plant them after flowering in the garden, but even if I plant red, fuchsia and purple primroses in the earth, always come out only yellow. But they are also beautiful in spring ;)

Operation Christmas Child - Weihnachten im Schuhkarton

Ich möchte euch nochmal auf diese tolle Aktion aufmerksam machen. Armen Kindern kann man viel Freude bereiten, indem man einen Schuhkarton mit Kleinigkeiten schenkt. Meine zwei Kartons sind fast fertig. Ich schenke immer im Alter meiner Kleinen, also diesmal für 6 Jahre alte Kinder. Einmal Bub, einmal Mädchen. Meine Kleine macht immer super mit und hilft beim Aussuchen der Geschenke und es ist ein toller Weg, um ihr zu erklären, dass es nicht allen Kindern so gut geht, wie ihr. Ich gestehe, dass ich fast alles gekauft habe, nur passende Schals habe ich nicht gefunden. Also habe ich meine Wollreste vorgekramt und schnell noch welche genadelt. Bis 15. November habe ich ja noch Zeit, dann ist Abgabetermin.

I always make gifts for children in the age of my little one, so this time for 6 years old children. One box for a boy and one for a girl. My girlie is always a great help in choosing the gifts and it's a great way to explain to her that not all children are so well like her. I confess that I bought almost everything but I didn’t find lovely scarves. So I've grabbed my wool remains and quickly knitted two pieces.

Walk In The Wood - Waldspaziergang

Ich bin total unruhig. Meine Nähmaschine ist jetzt schon zwei Wochen beim Service. Ich habe schon ein paarmal zornig angerufen, wohlwissend, dass die Frau im Geschäft auch nichts dafür kann, wenn die Werkstatt solange braucht. Aber es ist frustrierend, wenn sich die Arbeit stapelt. Zuschneiden kann ich ja, aber das will auch mal weggenäht werden.

I'm really worried. My sewing machine has now been two weeks with the service. I've called angry a few times, knowing that the woman in business can not help it, when the workshop takes so long. But it is frustrating when the work is piling up. I can crop, but the stuff will be sewn also betimes. 

Holiday Reading - Urlaubslektüre

Noch ein Nachtrag zu unserem Urlaub. Ich bin eine Leseratte mit leider viel zu wenig Gelegenheit dazu. Mein Urlaub beginnt ja, wenn mein Mann zu Hause ist und sich mit unserer Kleinen beschäftigt. Im Urlaub war das die meiste Zeit so (juhu), also habe ich es geschafft in 5 Tagen 3 Bücher zu lesen. Das war so schön! Ja die Bücher auch. Die Krimis beide sehr gut, amüsant und abwechslungsreich vom Milieu her. 
"Tote essen keinen Döner" ist witzig und skurril und mal ganz anders geschrieben. Klasse! "Milchgeld" ist humorvoll und spannend mit einem Täter auf den ich nicht getippt hätte. Sehr gut! "Freyas Töchter" ist die Fortsetzung von der ausgezeichneten "Waldgräfin". Kann man lesen, muss man aber nicht.

Another addition to our holiday. I'm a bookworm with way too little opportunity. My vacation starts when my husband is at home and playing with our girlie. During our holiday that was the most time (yay), so I read 3 books in 5 days. That was so wonderful! Yes, the books also. The detective stories are both very good, enjoyable and varied from milieu. I like them a little bizarre with humor and suspense. The third one is a story in the Middle Ages. I love to read books (mystery stories) about that period.

Fine Stone Age - Zarte Steinzeit

Immer wieder behäkle ich Steine, ich liebe diese Kombination aus hart und zart. Meine Kleine und ich sammeln Steine bei jedem Spaziergang und überlegen, ob sie für eine Behäkelung geeignet sind ;) Demnächst werde ich es mal mit ganz kleinen Steinen versuchen. Eine Fummelei ist es allemal!

Again I made crocheted stones. I love this combination of hard and soft. My little one and I collect stones from every walk and consider whether they are suitable for a crochet treatment :) Soon I will try it with very small stones. A tricky work!

The Red Sea - Das Rote Meer

Wir lieben Ägypten! Wenn man einen Nenner finden will aus Badeurlaub im Winter + sensationelle Tauchdestination + kurze Flugzeit + freundlichste Menschen gibt es für uns nur die Lösung Ägypten und das Rote Meer. Endlich durften auch wir in Urlaub fahren und weil unser kleines Mädchen noch nicht ihren Tramper-Rucksack tragen kann, buchten wir einen Hotelurlaub. Ist ja so gar nicht unser Ding. Mein Mann, der mit Rucksack sechs Monate durch Südostasien trampte, mit der Transsib nach Peking fuhr und zwei Monate durch China reiste, schüttelte immer wieder den Kopf ob der ganzen Dekadenz. Ich versicherte ihm immer wieder, dass es im Katalog gar nicht so protzig aussah. Es war aber auch nicht so, dass er den Komfort und Luxus nicht genoss ;) Aber es war toll!

We love Egypt! If you want to find a common denominator of beach holiday in the winter + sensational diving destination + short flight time + friendliest people there are for us the only solution to Egypt and the Red Sea. Finally we had our holidays and and because our little girl can not wear her tramper backpack, we booked a hotel holiday. This is not our thing. My husband, who was hitchhiking with a backpack six months through Southeast Asia, took the the Trans-Siberian Railway to Beijing and traveled two months through China, shook his head again and again whether the whole decadence. I assured him repeatedly that the pictures in the travel catalog were not that showy as in reality. Not that he wasn’t enjoying the comfort and luxury :) But it was great!

Meine Ovi war mal kurz beim Service, deshalb hat dieser Pulli etwas länger gedauert. (Also wenn der linke Faden dauernd ausfädelt oder der Faden nicht gegriffen wird, dann muss der Greifer poliert werden).

My serger was short time in service, therefore, this sweater took a little longer. (So if the left thread don’t stay in the needle or the thread is not used, then the gripper must be polished). 

6 Years

Schon vor einigen Tagen hatte meine Kleine ihren 6. Geburtstag gefeiert. Die Kinderparty ist immer ein Stresstest für Elterns Ohren. Ich lade auch immer die Eltern der Kinder ein, damit wir auch Unterhaltung haben, soweit das bei dem Lärm möglich ist. Leider ist immer ein paar Tage vor dem Geburtstag ein Kälteeinbruch oder Schlechtwetter, so dass wir nicht draußen im Garten feiern können. Zum Glück haben wir ein Spielzimmer. Ha! Als ob Kinder jemals im Spielzimmer bleiben würden. Aber wie immer, war es schön und lustig und laut!

A few days ago my little girl had her sixth birthday celebration. The children's party is always a stress test for parents' ears. I always invite the parents of the children too, so we also have entertainment, as far as possible from the noise. Unfortunately there is always a few days before the birthday a cold snap or bad weather, so we can not celebrate in the garden. Luckily we have a game room. Ha! As if kids would ever stay in the game room. But as always it was nice and fun and loud!

Jeans Recycling

Hab mich mal wieder an der alten Jeans meines Mannes vergriffen und Pyramidentäschchen gemacht. Spitzen und Reißverschluss sind aus dem Nachlass der Schwiegermutter meiner Freundin. Nur das Innenfutter ist aus neuem Stoff.

Once again I took the old jeans of my husband and sewed pyramid bags. Lace and zipper are from the estate of the mother in law of my girlfriend. Only the inner lining is made of new material.

Homemade Granola Bars - Selbstgemachte Müsliriegel

Müsliriegel sind nie so wie ich sie mag. Und außerdem ist immer zuviel Zucker dabei. Daher hab ich im Internet gesurft und ein REZEPT für Müsliriegel gefunden. Ich habe es etwas abgewandelt und ein fertiges Bio-Müsli verwendet und statt Pflaumen habe ich Datteln genommen. Außerdem habe ich die Masse zwischen Back Oblaten (gibt es auch rechteckig) gestrichen und noch warm aufgeschnitten. Das Ergebnis ist sensationell lecker und unglaublich ergiebig. Wir sind begeistert! Und für mich ist wichtig, dass es biologische Zutaten sind und ich weiß was und wie viel drin ist.

Granola bars are never the way I like them. And besides, there is always too much sugar in it. So I've surfed the internet and found a great recipe. I've modified it slightly and used a ready-made organic muesli and took dates instead of prunes. I put the dough between baking wafers and cut into bars while still warm. The result is sensational, delicious and incredibly rich. We are thrilled! And for me it is important that there are biological ingredients and I know what and how much is in there.

World Animal Day - Welttierschutztag

Unsere beiden Racker haben es gut! Aber es gibt so viele Tiere, die unsagbar leiden. An erster Linie denkt man an den Schutz bedrohter Arten. Aber dieses Jahr will ich vor allem an unsere Nutztiere denken. Auch wenn ihr Leben nur kurz ist und nur dem Zwecke unserer Ernährung dient, haben sie die grausame Haltung nicht verdient, die leider immer noch üblich und standard ist. Ich habe dieses Jahr unseren Haushalt und unsere Ernährung umgestellt und kaufe und lebe bio und grün. Für mich, uns, die Tiere, die Umwelt.

Our two rascals are doing well! But there are so many animals which suffer unspeakably. In the first place one thinks of protecting endangered species. But this year I think of our livestock. Even though their life is short and only serves the purposes of our diet, they do not deserve the cruel keeping that is unfortunately still common and standard. This year I have rearranged our budget and our food and I buy and live organic and green. For me, us, the animals, the environment.

Ja, es geht! Hund und Katze leben gut miteinander. Unser Hund Benno war 3 Jahre alt, als Kätzchen Kitty als Baby ins Haus kam. Von seiner Seite war es Liebe auf den ersten Blick! Sie ... mag ihn auch ;)

Yes, it works! Dog and cat can live together well. Our dog Benno was 3 years old when cat Kitty came as a baby into the house. From his side it was love at first sight! She... likes him too ;)

Almost Forgot - Beinahe vergessen

... hätte ich meine Häkelarbeiten. Die Styroporplatten stehen in der Werkstatt meines Mannes und dort habe ich sie, nachdem ich meine Spitzendeckchen zum Spannen draufgenadelt hatte, auch stehen gelassen. Gestern habe ich sie wiederentdeckt ;) Ich nähe die Motive als Deko auf Täschchen. Wie ihr an dem Schatten seht, den die Stecknadeln werfen, haben wir immer noch traumhaft warmes und sonniges Wetter. Die letzten Tage und Wochen lassen uns fast den miesen Sommer vergessen.

... I have my crocheting. The polystyrene sheets are in my husbands workshop where I left it after I had pinned my lace doilies for blocking. Yesterday I discovered them again ;) I sew the doilies on pouches as deco. As you can see on the shadows of the pins, we still have fabulous warm and sunny weather. The last few days and weeks let us almost forget the lousy summer.

Zucchini Mix Sweet-and-Sour

OK, das ist jetzt eins meiner Lieblingsrezepte. Schneller und leckerer geht's gar nicht. Ich habe aber immer noch eine Menge Zucchinis, zum Glück halten die sich so lange.

OK, now this is one of my favorite recipes. It’s quick and tasty. I still have a lot of zucchini, good that they keep very long.

Zucchini Mix Sweet-and-Sour

1 kg (2,2 lb) zucchini

2-3 onions

3 carrots

2 paprika peppers

3 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon mustard seeds

½ teaspoon pepper corns

1 teaspoon curry powder

100 g (0,22 lb) sugar

some dried dill

some lemon juice

500 ml (16,91 oz or 2,11 cup) water

450 ml (15,22 oz or 1,9 cup) vinegar

200 ml (6,76 oz or 0,85 cup) apple juice

Put water, vinegar and apple juice in a large pot. Bring to a boil, add sugar and spices. Add chopped zucchini, carrots, onions and peppers, bring to a boil again. Fill the vegetable hot in jars and seal immediately.

It's Time To Say Goodbye

Unser geliebtes Auto geht in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand. Immer wieder konnten wir es überreden doch noch zu verlängern, aber jetzt ist es soweit. Unser Citroen Xsara Break TDi, BJ 1999, das beste Auto, das wir (seit 2002) bis jetzt hatten, wird uns noch diese Woche verlassen.

Our beloved car goes into a well-deserved retirement. Again and again we could persuade it to prolong its stay, but now it's time. Our CitroenXsara Break TDi, 1999 model, the best car we ever had (since 2002) until now will leave us this week.

Mit diesem Auto haben wir unsere Kleine nach der Geburt nach Hause gefahren, mit diesem Auto haben wir unsere Kitty geholt, unser Benno liebt es im Kofferraum zu schlafen, und Kitty kuschelt gerne auf der warmen Motorhaube, es hat brav unseren Anhänger mit schweren Lasten gezogen und hat nie Extras aus der Autowerkstätte verlangt und ist soweit gefahren. Ach, was bist du weit gefahren! Meinem Mann blutet das Herz und wir werden dich auch vermissen.

How Do You Store Your Patterns? - Wie lagert ihr eure Schnittmuster?

Ich meine jetzt nicht die Papierschnittmustervorlagen aus den Zeitschriften (die kann man ja wieder auf A4 zusammenlegen), sondern die vielen einzelnen Schnittteilchen, die man ausgeschnitten hat. Legt ihr die zusammen? Seit ich die Schnittvorlagen auf Folie ausgeschnitten habe, liegen sie auf dem Esstisch herum und harrten einer vernünftigen Lagerung. Tja, und ganz plötzlich, hatte ich die für mich richtige Idee. Alles was man dazu braucht, sind Drahtkleiderbügel und Wäscheklammern. Tadaaa!

I don’t mean the paper pattern templates from magazines (which you can put back together to magazine size), but the many individual pattern pieces, which has been cut out. Fold them? Since I've cut out the templates on film they are lying on the table and waited for a reasonable storage. Well, all of a sudden, I had the right idea for me. Everything you need are wire hangers and clothespins. Tadaaa!

Ein weiteres Shirt für mein Mädel ist fertig. Das macht soviel Spaß! Obwohl mich meine Ovi gestern etwas geärgert hat. Zuerst riss immer der zweite Faden, weiß nicht wie oft ich neu eingefädelt habe, mit dem Resultat, dass ich jetzt zwar im Schlaf einfädeln kann, aber der Faden immer noch riss. Also gegoogelt und da fand ich dann auch die Lösung für mein Problem. Einfach mal die Nadeln austauschen, das stand zwar auch im Handbuch, aber ich vertraute dann doch den Mädels im Netz. Und gegen Abend ärgerte mich dann noch der Rollsaum, alles richtig eingestellt, aber das Ergebnis war nicht so wie es sein sollte. Da hatte ich dann genug. Heute morgen setzte ich mich wieder hin und machte nochmal ein Probestück und siehe da alles paletti. Ich hatte die Einstellungen nicht geändert!? 

Another shirt for my girl is ready. It's so much fun! Although I was annoyed by my serger yesterday. First the second thread broke off all the time, don’t know how many times I re-threaded with the result that I can threading my serger on my head, but the thread still broke. So I googled and I found the solution to my problem. Simply replace the needles, which was also the manuals advice but I trusted rather the girls on the net. And in the evening the rolled edge made me angry, everything is set correctly but the result was not as it should be. Since then I had enough. This morning I sat down again and made another sample piece and see everything is ok. I hadn’t changed the settings!?

Zucchini-Antipasto

Dieses Jahr kann ich über den Zucchiniberg, den ich geerntet habe gar nicht drüber schauen. Und es kommen immer noch welche. Wir lieben ja schon immer Zucchinisuppe mit kleingeschnittenen Frankfurter (Wiener) Würstel und Kartoffeln. Aber irgendwann will man keine Suppe mehr und der eingefrorene Vorrat reicht auch bis nächstes Jahr. Also muss was Neues her und ich habe dieses tolle, super schnelle und einfache Zucchini-Antipasto-Rezept ausprobiert und es schmeckt sooo lecker! Ich habe allerdings 1/3 der Menge Essig durch Wasser ersetzt und schmeckt immer noch super. Und ich denke das Rezept ist flexibel genug, dass man noch andere Gewürze dazugeben kann.

This year I can not look over the zucchini mountain I've harvested. And there is still no end. We love zucchini soup with chopped Frankfurter (Vienna) Sausage and potatoes. But at some point you want no more soup and my frozen stock is huge. So there have to be a new recipe and I've tried an amazing, superquick and easy recipe and it tastes sooo yummy! However, I replaced 1/3 the amount of vinegar with water and still tastes great. And I think the recipe is flexible enough to add some other spices. So here it is:

1 kg (2,2 lb) Zucchini, chopped as small as you like

375 ml (1,59 cup or 12,68 oz) apple vinegar

375 ml (1,59 cup or 12,68 oz) olive oil

5 cloves of garlic, sliced

2 onions, sliced

12 fresh leaves of basil

2 teaspoon salt

pepper

Put all ingredients together in a pot and bring to a boil. After 5 minutes of cooking time take off the fire and fill immediately into clean sterilized jars. Wait short until the oil comes up by gently tapping on the table, shake Zucchini getting into shape, so that no air bag is in between. Close immediately.

Mein Mädchen bekommt wieder ein Shirt und auf das Shirt sollen wieder Blümchen appliziert werden. Im Netz habe ich diese süßen Häkelblümchen gefunden. Anleitungen für die Blätter findet man auf YouTube, wenn man das Stichwort 'Häkelblätter' eingibt.

Start: 6 Lm, zu einem Ring schließen.

2 Lm, 23 Stäbchen in den Ring, Reihe schließen mit einer Kettm.

4 Lm, 1 Stb in die Kettm der vorherigen Reihe, 1 Lm * 2 Maschen überspringen, in die 3. M: 1 Stb, 2 Lm, 1 Stb, 1 Lm *; 7x wiederholen von * bis *. Reihe schließen mit einer Kettm in die 2. Lm der 4 Lm vom Anfang der Reihe.
Reihe 3:

Manchmal braucht man ein Häkelstück, das genau passen muss. Meistens fange ich dann viele Male an, weil ich nicht weiß, wie viele Luftmaschen ich anschlagen muss, um soundsoviel cm zu bekommen. Wie ihr vielleicht auf dem Foto gesehen habt, mache ich hier eine Reihe feste Maschen ohne Luftmaschenkette. Also ich fand das absolut fantastisch, als ich das im Netz gefunden habe.

Sometimes you need a chrocheted piece that must fit exactly. Usually I start many times because I don’t know how many chains I need to get the exact inches. As you might have seen in the photo, I'm doing a series of single crochet stitches with no chain. So I thought it was absolutely fantastic as I have found the instruction in the net.

Plum Jam - Zwetschkenmarmelade

Dieses Jahr trugen die Bäume nicht besonders gut, aber für etwas Zwetschkenmarmelade (Pflaumenkonfitüre) reichte es. Auf dem Bild sieht man auch mein uraltes Geschirrtuch, das ich von meiner Oma vor über 20 Jahren bekommen habe. Und seitdem ist es in Gebrauch, die Qualität ist spitze. 

This year the trees had not much fruits but enough for some plum jam. On the picture you can also see my very old dish towel I got from my grandmother over 20 years ago. And since then it is in use, the quality is fabulous.

Xmas stars are early this year - Weihnachtssterne sind dieses Jahr früh dran

Hab schon einen Weihnachtsstern gehäkelt. Und trotzdem schaffe ich es, dass ich vor Weihnachten total in Stress komme.

I've already crocheted a Christmas star. Nevertheless I can manage to be totally stressed before Christmas.

Die Turnbeutel für meine Schulanfänger Patenkinder sind fertig und ausgeliefert, dazu gab's natürlich auch Stiftemäppchen. Kamen gut an!

The drawstring bags for my godchildren who have today their very first day in school are ready and already delivered. And they also got pencil cases. I think they like them!

Indian Summer - Altweibersommer

Ist ja lustig, dass in Wikipedia 'Altweibersommer' auf englisch in 'Indian Summer' übersetzt wird. Also, liebes Wiki, das geht ja wohl gar nicht. Ein schöner Blätterwald hat ja nun nichts mit Spinnweben zu tun.
Geht's euch auch so, dass einem klar ist, dass Spinnen nützlich und harmlos und eigentlich ein Wunder der Natur sind, aber trotzdem jagen sie einem einen kalten Schauer über den Rücken und man will sie einfach nicht da haben, wo man gerade selber ist?

Wikipedia translated 'Altweibersommer' in Indian Summer but that is wrong. 'Altweibersommer' (Old Women Summer) is the time in September and begin of October when weather is warm and constant. The name derives from spinning threads with which young spiders fly through the air in autumn. "weiben" (Weib – woman) in Old High German meant ‚tying cobwebs’. In popular belief these webs were also held for webs of elves, dwarves, the Norns or the Virgin Mary.
So you can see both terms only have the season fall in common.
Do you feel the same? It’s clear to me that spiders are useful and harmless and really are a wonder of nature but nevertheless they chase me a cold shiver down my back and I don't want them where I am at the moment.

Jetzt muss ich noch an der Passgenauigkeit arbeiten. Meine Kleine ist sehr schmal, aber ich habe immer Angst, dass ich das Shirt zu klein mache.

Now I have to work on fitting accuracy. My little one is very slim but I'm always afraid that I make the shirt too small.

Aber meiner Kleinen gefällt es und das ist das einzige, das für mich zählt.

But my girlie loves it and that's the only thing that matters.

Too Good For The Compost - Zu schön für den Kompost

Was ist das?

Als ich vor einiger Zeit mein Lavendelbeet durchjätete, fand ich diese Pflanze dazwischen. Sie ist einfach zu schön zum Ausreißen. Kennt jemand den Namen dieser Blume?

When I was weeding my lavenderbed some time ago I found this plant in between. It is simply too beautiful to be torn out. Does anyone know the name of this flower?

Photo Deco

Das Spielhaus meiner Kleinen ist im Garten vom Haus aus nicht zu sehen und daher fühlt sie sich dort manchmal etwas einsam. Also haben wir Fotos ausgesucht (von Eltern, Hund, Katze und bester Freundin), sind zum nächsten Drogeriemarkt gegangen und haben sie dort gleich ausgedruckt. 

The playhouse of my little one in the garden is not visible from the house and therefore she feels a bit lonely there sometimes. So we selected photos (of parents, pets and best friend), went to the nearest drugstore and havethem printed out there immediately.

Summertime

Heute ist es so richtig heiß! Ich hätte fast vergessen wie das ist, wenn die Luft flimmert und man lieber im Haus bleibt. Aber wir haben im Garten einen Easy Pool stehen, der sich auch an den wenigen sonnigen Tagen auszahlt. Unseren ersten Easy Pool haben wir für 50 Euro gekauft und hielt 4 Jahre. Das ist jetzt der zweite und den haben wir auch schon 2 Jahre, trotz Hund und Katze hat der Ring oben bis jetzt nur 2 Flicken. Heute hat das Wasser 28°C und wenn es weiterhin so heiß ist, wird es noch wärmer. Es ist herrlich, wenn man ewig planschen kann, ohne dass einem kalt wird. Ich drapiere zwei Schwimmnudeln immer so um mich herum, dass ich im Wasser schwebe. Sobald die Wassertemperatur aber 30°C erreicht, hänge ich den Gartenschlauch rein, der 14 Grad kühles Brunnenwasser reinpumpt und wieder etwas abkühlt. Da meine Kleine viel herumspritzt, muss ich sowieso von Zeit zu Zeit auffüllen. So und jetzt tauche ich wieder unter!

Today it is really hot! I almost forgot what it's like when the air shimmers and you prefer to remain in the house. But in the garden we have an Easy Pool that pays off well on the few sunny days. Our first easy pool we bought for 70$ and last for 4 years. This is now the second pool and we have it since 2 years, in spite of dog and cat the ring only has two patches. Today the water is 82F and if it is still hot, it will be even warmer. It is wonderful when you can splash around forever without getting cold. I drape our two swim noodles around me that I'm floating in the water. Once the water temperature reaches 86F I hang the garden hose in the pool that is pumping pure cool (57F) spring water in and cool down the water a little. Since my little one is splashing around a lot, I have to fill up anyway from time to time. So and now I am ducking and enjoying this summerday!
