This is our first and most splendid rose bush in the garden and also the only rose, whose name I do not know. Bought bare root and puny at the hardware store for 1,50 Euro (~ 1.69 USD) 13 years ago. We never would have thought that it will evolve that way. Hundreds of blossoms flourishes in a few days. The scent is incredibly intense and beguiling. I do not fertilizing or spraying against anything, because it's incredibly robust and hardy. Perhaps the rose would like to thank us because we have saved her from a fate at the compost pile. And we admire and rejoice over her every year at the flowery splendor of the rose. Here really applies the saying: Never judge a book by its cover.
Have a nice day!
